Rats&Spears | http://absolutist.com/[..]/rats_spears/ | 1786x |
They live not far from your house. Just over the fence from the last cottage on your street there's a dump... Not a romantic place, dear Sirs and Madams, but that's where they live. Recently these creatures have decided to organize their own Olympics to let the world hear of them. We don't know why but javelin-throwing seems to become rats favorite sport. Are you ready to reincarnate in one of them and master your throwing skills?

ADOM | http://www.adom.de | 1784x |
Ancient Domains of Mystery (ADOM for short) is a roguelike game which means that it is a single-user game featuring the exploration of a dungeon complex (and in the case of ADOM a few other games of this genre: the exploration of a large wilderness area with villages and many special locations). You control a fictional character described by race, class, attributes, skills, and equipment. This fictional character is trying to achieve a specific goal (see below) and succeed in a difficult quest. To fulfill the quest, you have to explore previously undiscovered tunnels and dungeons, fight hideous monsters, uncover long forgotten secrets, and find treasures of all kind.

Blue Moon | http://www.catb.org/[..]esr/bluemoon/ | 1775x |
This 52-card solitaire starts with the entire deck shuffled and dealt out in four rows. The aces are then moved to the left end of the layout, making 4 initial free spaces. You may move to a space only the card that matches the left neighbor in suit, and is one greater in rank. Kings are high, so no cards may be placed to their right (they create dead spaces). When no moves can be made, cards still out of sequence are reshuffled and dealt face up after the ends of the partial sequences, leaving a card space after each sequence, so that each row looks like a partial sequence followed by a space, followed by enough cards to make a row of 14. A moment's reflection will show that this game cannot take more than 13 deals. A good score is 1-3 deals, 4-7 is average, 8 or more is poor.

bastet | http://fph.altervista.org/[..]/bastet.shtml | 1759x |
Have you ever thought Tetris(R) was evil because it wouldn't send you that straight "I" brick you needed in order to clear four rows at the same time? Well Tetris(R) probably isn't evil, but Bastet certainly is. >:-) Bastet stands for "bastard tetris", and is a simple ncurses-based Tetris(R) clone for Linux. Unlike normal Tetris(R), however, Bastet does not choose your next brick at random. Instead, Bastet uses a special algorithm designed to choose the worst brick possible. As you can imagine, playing Bastet can be a very frustrating experience!
