Galeon |

Galeon is a GNOME Web browser based on gecko (the mozilla rendering engine). It's fast, it has a light interface, and it is fully standards-compliant.
The main appeal in Galeon is its slender design and speed. The icons on the browser itself are small and cleanly designed, and look better than the increasingly cartoony buttons found on most Web browsers. That means the buttons take up little of the space that one would rather use for, well, browsing. Pages load quickly and almost flawlessly, although some standard fonts looked a little less clear than one might like. Thoughtfully, it provides access to Google right from the front page.

Opera |

I think Opera is the best browser. Goals: cross-platform (thanks to QT library), very ergonomic (greatly customizable GUI), high speed (higher than IE), tabbed-browsing, built-in e-mail client, pop-up killer,...
Very useful is session saver: At start Opera can restore it's state before last end. Everything in 4MB!
Displaying: Obviously CSS styles and JavaScript (Java is optional). Version 7.x displays pages excellent. By my web-designer experience: what displays good in Opera will also be good in Mozilla and IE.
