Arkhart is a strange world in which humans and insectomorph creatures called "Daphyrings" live together. Every part of the world has been created from scratch, so it isn't another D&D-style roleplaying game. In the single player mode, one will need to solve a lot of tightly linked quests, in order to help Delshest IV keep his Snattalian Empire.In the multiplayer version, the game master will finally play an important role : he will choose a list of quests, or create new ones using Ark editing tools ; he will ensure that the difference of level between the players isn't too big at the begining of a game. During the game, he'll be able to add monsters or to play non-playable characters, in order to adapt the difficulty of the quest to the skills of the players. Arkhart uses/develops the Ark engine, which provides edition tools, a 3D client, and scripting facilities for the server. Any help in any field (graphic, programming, scenaristic background) will be gratefully accepted. |
