| Hypercube |
http://tumic.wz.cz/hypercube |
0x |

Hypercube features a Qt based GUI tool for visualizing simple text based graph representations as SVG and EPS images as well as a Qt independent command line tool. Hypercube uses a simulated annealing algorithm to lay out the graph that can be easy parametrized to achieve the desired look.
Main goals in development are portability and easy usage rather than high performance and complexity. The command line tool does not require any other libraries than the standard C++ library and the GUI tool uses "pure" Qt.

The main goal of this tool is to restore database structure in the case of lack of any knowledge about that database. The tool supports backups made by ASE Sybase versions from 12.5 to 15.7

| Direct Export |
http://bluetelum.com/ |
0x |
|
DirectExportSybase reads data directly from filesystem bypassing fetching data from server via ODBC or any other interface. This approach provides minimal impact on the system
where source server is installed and high speed of unload. On average direct unload faster than native bcp utility in 3-5 times. Command line interface is easy to use and user-friendly.
Data export is serious task. That’s why we would like to offer you a free demo version so you can estimate benefits of direct export.
The tool supports ASE Sybase versions from 15.5 to 15.7

This is a script which uses Rsync over SSH to make backups to another server. The aim is that there had to be almost nothing being installed on the backupserver (dst-server), except for the availability of a SSH-server and a user. There also had to be some keys for SSH-authentication. The src-server is gonna take care of all the jobs that has to be done on the dst-server, so if the src-server fails, there will be an up-2-date snapshot on the dst-server.
