Bogofilter is a mail filter that classifies mail as spam or ham (non-spam) by a statistical analysis of the message's header and content (body). The program is able to learn from the user's classifications and corrections. Bogofilter provides processing for plain text and html. It supports multi-part mime message with decoding of base64, quoted-printable, and uuencoded text and ignores attachments, such as images. Written in C, it is extremely fast compared other simillar filters (spamassassin e.g.). Being taught carefully it has very good results.

George is a file reorganizer and CD creator, especially suited for the creation of MP3 archive CD's. It will take files from all around your system and/or network, organize them into somewhat lexicographically sorted CD-sized chunks and provide means to create CDs using external pre-mastering and mastering software. George is written in perl, using the gnome-perl and Glade-perl modules (amongst others). There is also a command-line version of George which does not need any special (non-standard) Perl modules. To actually create CDs with George, you also need recent versions of cdrecord and mkisofs.

When the game starts, two pictures which are almost the same are showed in the two sides of the window. What you need to do is to point out the five differences of the two pictures by your mouse.After finding out them, the next pictures are showed. The game has time limit. When the time is over, your energy get less and less. You can also choose to give up and go to the next pictures, but the energy will still decrease a bit. If the energy is over, the game ends.

K3Guitune is a program that lets you tune a musical instrument using your computer and its microphone. It takes the microphone input, determines its frequency, and displays where on the note scale that is using an oscilloscope and a note scale graphic. K3Guitune supports three different frequency scales: normal, Wien and physical. It's a port to KDE 3 of the K2Guitune program by Florian Berger. It is not likely to run out of the box on other systems than Linux, but porting should be easy.
