Wmtimer is a dockable alarm clock for WindowMaker which can be run in alarm, countdown timer, or chronograph mode. In alarm or timer mode, you can either execute a command or sound the system bell when the time is reached. Wmtimer is configurable through the command line or the GTK GUI.
This little app reads a file that has 3 lines with 8 or less chars per line and keeps updating the display based on whats in the file. This allows you to plug-in your own scripts for monitoring anything. I have provided an example script that grabs weather information from weather.com based on a zip code. It's just a little hack to wmtop, but hopefully the non-C hackers will enjoy it.
Wmpopup is a Window Maker dockapp that allows you to send and receive messages to/from a Windows network over samba, such as "winpopup" or "net send" for Windows or "Linpopup" for linux.
