Wmsync is a WindowMaker dockapp that starts your favourite sync program for your Palm(TM) PDA. It displays a small animation when syncing. It is controlled by a small perl script via SIGUSR1 and SIGUSR2 so it is highly customizable. That´s all.
The Flash Web server is a high-performance Web server developed using a novel concurrency architecture. It combines the high performance of single-process event-driven servers on cached workloads with the performance of multi-process and multi-threaded servers on disk-bound workloads.
This is a script which uses Rsync over SSH to make backups to another server. The aim is that there had to be almost nothing being installed on the backupserver (dst-server), except for the availability of a SSH-server and a user. There also had to be some keys for SSH-authentication. The src-server is gonna take care of all the jobs that has to be done on the dst-server, so if the src-server fails, there will be an up-2-date snapshot on the dst-server.
Use K7Z if you want to:
* Backup a folder to a storage location
* Create or extract a password-protected archive
* Update an existing archive quickly
Ark (2.6.3) is handy but it doesn't seem to:
* Create archives with passwords
* Extract (some) archives with passwords
* Update existing archives by default
K7Z is a simple application that attempts to fill these voids. It probably won't become a total archiving solution.
